3 papers down, 2 to go. Freedom is somewhere beyond the horizon. One thing's for sure. Not a happy chap at the moment, people close to me are very prone to pissing me off. But when I'm done at Friday 5pm, all I can think about is putting that cone on my head and celebrating the final piece of the jigsaw puzzle at my place with my classmates. FICM 2010 has been a great journey, and a chance well taken.

This is a review of EA Sports latest soccer game FIFA 10, so if you're not a football fan or an avid gamer, you might want to browse away now. However if you're interested, read on. After sis buying the ps3 during the Christmas period, I took the opportunity to get my hands on the Original FIFA 10 to test the gameplay and online features. So far, it has not disappointed, and to me it is the leading game in any football game franchise out there. This is FIFA 10.

Yeahp that's the cover. This year we have Theo Walcott of Arsenal, Frank Lampard from Chelsea, and of course how can we not forget( ugh ), Wayne Rooney of Manchester United.

Front cover aside, the game picks up where it left off last year, with FIFA 09. There has been much improvement, such as the new 360 degree angle dribbling, Create a set-piece, Virtual Pro mode, and an even more advance Manager Mode that will keep you hooked for seasons. Live Season 2.0 is also an interesting game mode, for gamers who are willing to pay to play and change the fortunes of their clubs via playing current real life world fixtures.

Since I'm pretty sure many of you are very familiar with the other features, let me jump to online play. To play online, you will need to both register at easports to get an account, and make an in-game profile to be activated, so you can take on millions of players around the world, or even kick around with your friends. Online play tends to lag in my case, but it's mainly due to the fact that most players I play with are from Europe and beyond, hence a farther connection which is a downside. On the upside, Online play is fantastic, be it head to head, or 20 Virtual Pro's of players on the pitch, easports keeps tracks of your stats, including the amount of games won, drawn or lost, goals, assists, percentages of your performances online and many more at your profile page, for your own archiving pleasure, or for other players to view how good you are and invite you to join their clubs and what not. Another splendid feature of the FIFA 10 on the playstation 3 online network is, whenever you score a brilliant goal or created a moment of madness, from the instant replay in game screen, you may UPLOAD the goal , or picture into your online profile in the web, to be entered into weekly competition or just for viewing and boasting rights. I think that is super duper cool, and I've already got a couple of goals in there that I'd like you to see =) Any gamer out there who wants to play with me or against me, add me at my username, lpshadows.

Now to the next section. Most of you must be asking what on earth is Virtual Pro. Well long story short, you get to create a gameface ; either select a few templates of faces that looks like you, or, upload a picture of yourself, and then download your own face into the game. Which is exactly what I did. Then, using VP mode, you may put yourself into your favorite club, and fight your way to superstardom. It is an awesome new feature. The climax of the mode is when you are peaked enough in your career to be picked to represent your country at a World Cup. I'll show you how it's done. In my case, I created myself, Adrian Gomez, who plays for Italy.

First of all, you take a picture of yourself like so, and download the face morpher which is provided on the website.

Now with this picture, I was able to morph myself into, him.

Now the hair really isn't me, but I managed to edit that in the game itself, and I do look real. It gives you an extra tingle when you see yourself play. Seriously. I then put myself into four different clubs over a period of 4 seasons, and had numerous hair style and color changes, before I finally made it as Italy's main striker. =)

And the joy of the FA cup, which has been much criticized by all whom say the big guns don't care about English football's oldest competition. Bullcrap. They do. Arsenal F.C, the pride of London have raced out of the traps this season, scoring 50+ goals halfway through the season, and are still firing on the three most valuable fronts ; The Premier League, The Champions League, and as recently as last night, they're in the running for the 4th round of the FA Cup. This morning I was able to watch Arsenal play their town rivals West Ham United at Upton Park for the 3rd round of the Cup, and by all means it was a ferocious cup tie affair. West Ham had taken the lead thanks to some risky defending by Arsenal at the back, and Damianti scored right on the stroke of half time. For an hour, Arsenal banged at the gates but no joy in the final third. Till, Mr Wenger decided to bring on senior boys Diaby and Nasri. No sooner then 12 minutes after the change, enter Aaron Ramsey ; Arsenal's 19 year old Welsh prodigy. Receiving a short pass from Carlos Vela, Ramsey smashed in a left footed shot which beat the keeper and found the bottom left corner of the net ; and sent the Gunner's fans who were perched behind that goal, into ecstasy. They, like me needn't worry, cause the impact of Ramsey's goal shifted the momentum towards Arsenal getting the second goal. And they did.On the 83rd minute, another pass from Vela, this time a cross from the left found Eduardo, and the Croat's looping header beat Rob Green. A great match to watch.

The FA Cup is also about shocks. 11 time winners Manchester United ( i hate them ) were knocked out by former english giants who sprawled into a free fall down to league two, Leeds United. Leeds went to Old Trafford and won 1-0. To the delight, of all of us who hate Man Utd.

It's new years eve. 364 days flew by, and here I am awaiting the new year with both anticipation and regret, regret that I'm leaving behind a year that meant a lot to me, and could have meant so much more. If there was an aspect that I could pick out to further explain why 2009 had an impact on me, would be my band. This year, we pushed as far as we could, and did everything we said we were gonna do. And I'm Proud we've achieved something together. More details in another post, over at the other blog.

As these moments of closure dwarf the sense of silence & serenity, I have a story for you, my dear readers. So don't go make a cup of coffee, this isn't going to be a long emo essay.

I The Low

One sunday morning. Out of the blue, one of my dearest friends, who has now departed for australia( ღ my hero ), called me and woke me from my sunday slumber. She said she was incharge of helping her mum teach a sunday school class, packed with 11 & 12 year olds . She said she was supposed to talk to them about incidents in the bible that was supposed to root faith and inspire these kids. But she said the bible stories were boring, an

d that she wanted to use a friend's life encounter as a good motivator. I laughed so hard over the phone. I asked her how on earth is my life going to inspire kids? She simply said i the low. I didn't get it, that's the name of my blog. She asked why did I name the blog I The Low? And that's where it hit me. I named my blog after my two bands that i liked. BUT, according to some people, the words i the low in contrast to the life i live, had it's own meaning. And if it wasn't for that phone call, i would have never seen it. I The Low. The story of a boy who started with nothing, ended up getting everything he ever dreamed of getting, and it doesn't end there, as i'm still learning, growing and fighting to hold on to everything i have. Hence, I The Low. I need not elaborate. It was a 1 hour phone call that changed the way i thought of everything. Thank you angela. This was supposed to be yesterdays update, but ahh what the hell. Wanted to update about our recording and the mtv live world stage mosh pit passes we've got. Nevermind, next post. So anyway, this post has everything got to do with random. And it's totally Khoo Lip Lin's fault!

Lol. What was turning out to be a nice relaxing day, turned out to be so random with just a single sms from manda, who wanted to play badminton. As you would know, i'm game for anything with anyone. She didn't want to play singles, so happen brad was the one i was chatting with at the time, so I Randomly told him we're playing shuttlecocks with manda and chee yan. He was like oh okay. Haaha. Manda came and fetched us ( lol she drives) with chee yan in her new atos. She's so proud that it's Korean made. like, wtv la wei! Her bear collection at the back is just hillarious, and omg, her back doors cant open. Me and brad would scamper left and right to get out. Ended up going to two indoor places which was fully booked, so we played outdoors instead. Even with the wind, girls like to cheat. hahaha. But kay lar, good game both of you. Manda's driving isn't that horrible la, she just needs to calm down and not panic =) After playing, sat at the court and gossip about school days, the current era, our fav/hated teachers and what not. That part was fun, seeing how we've all matured. Anyway, chee yan, dont let that teacher haunt you. You Kp can kick ass la wei. whee. Decided to go eat dinner at pizza hut. That was a random decision. At the taipan traffic light, i saw this black saga with a P in front of us, so i randomly asked the two girls and brad, is that guat yee in front? Apparently they were yapping and didnt hear, till a minute later amanda ask, did u ask if its gy in front? cause it is. haha. So we tailed her till we got right beside her car and just stared in. Her whole family stared back. Then from the backseat in between her bro's, her head popped out and was smiling at us. lmfao-so-frigging random. After dinner, sent chee yan home, so when she left, front seat empty, and dahla the back door can't open, so i climbed from backseat to passenger seat, and fell. like, in between. hahaha! Leg got left behind.

But under circumstances like now for such, I'm awake and unable to go back to sleep, having slept very early last night, and it's because of a dream. Very interesting dream. I dunno, the closest place i can match that dream to would be the sunset on the beaches of Bali. Minus the fireworks ( from dream ). Roll a dice, Conquer the World.

Boardgames. Memoirs turned to temptation, temptation turned into indulgence. After revisiting risk with the guys, it was only a matter of time before i rip open old wounds of addiction and got stuck right in again ; Risk 2210 a.d, the advanced and more futuristic version of risk. Not many people will know what the fuck i'm talking about, but whatever, i'm just telling you it's a good game =) Very strategic, and provides countless of fun dice rolling hours with your friends. The new version include news soldiers called M.O.Ds, underwater territories and even a moon map. Pretty significant stuff, so i'll leave out the details. Been trying to tame the urge to play it everyday, and i now seek a drug, the online versions! =D I'm officially a trainee in the ConquerClub. It's a loadsa fun, pitting your strategic wits with hundreds of risk lovers on all kinds of maps. Khoo Eevon. The latest addition to a long list of people who meant a lot to me that leaves home for a better education. She leaves for Singapore on wednesday, so earlier today Grace planned a surprise party for her at tgif in pyramid. I was actually ordered to call janakar by grace, and I did, and He Answered the phone! hahaha! whatabitch. Finally decided to tell me the truth and said he was working, Not studying. LOL. and btw he didn't show up. Guests included Ken Yee ( miss him man, damn tall edi), Aun Hoong, Justin, Claudine ( who took most of the pics with my cam), Kev, Myself, Grace and a few others. So basically, i've got a lot of pics, i upload terus lah. A bit on evee. Met her in 99. Lot of history between us, and i'm sure as hell gonna miss her now! =(

So..as you prolly know i really suck at farewells and goodbyes. I just wana say, all the best with your dancing career in singapore! And when you're a famous dancer someday, don't forget the little things you call home kay.. =) From us, your friends and family, we will miss you!

Against any of the tv actors that i'm about to rip off. So yeah. this is going to be a weird post request, and why did i ever considered. Well, i agree with them that this might help me take my mind off things. whee. alicia, magE and i were discussing tv shows la. then they started yapping about the hot boys and how romantic bladebla, so being a fan of both tv shows, i had my own say. and our discussion got too far,and i am now doing a blog post abt them(the actors), just as i'm sure ms cawl and ms mag are doing the same thing on their blogs.
The lowdown. It's The O.C vs. One Tree Hill baby. Me and mag both more towards O.C, alicia hates oc and is forever married to oth( and nathan). So let's begin. I will be covering a few elements. Romanticism, Buffness, Style, Humor , Determination (lol!? wtf.)

Romanticism
~ Of course, the basic story line for any show. So! Both OTH and OC have bloody typical and repetitive love storylines. And out of the 4 gentleman above, FOR ME, Ryan Atwood stands out. Here's why. ( both m and a wont agree, shut up and read first. )
Ryan Atwood, born and raised in Chino, he stole cars to make a living, got adopted, had a future, got humbled, not very good with expressing words, but it's the things he did to show the women how much he loved them, was the reason for the point. The whole rush hour new year scene with marrissa, the poem for taylor. aiseh. 1-0 OC

Buffness
~ No fight. Ryan Atwood, 100%. Ladies, google it if you have to. Nathan is pretty close behind though. Lucas and Seth are like sticks. 2-0 OC

Style
~ Pretty much Seth Cohen. With every passing season, his punk indie clothing gets pretty interesting. However, Lucas Scott in OTH season's 5-6 as a man do have a better sense of style, compared to his high school days ( rmbr the ever present grey top/ scottbodyshop grey hoodie.) Draw, 3-1.

Humor
~ No fight. Seth Cohen. That one we all agreed on. He's just a live wire, and a brilliant actor/ spontaneous creator of hilarious dialogues. OC leads 4-1

Determination.
~ Basketball, Haley, Basketball, Haley, Basketball, Haley, Basketball, Haley. Awesome priorities. Who else? Nathan Scott. 4-2.

In the end, OTH kena tapau 4-2 by the OC. People who watch BOTH shows, feel free to attack me and my reasons for choice. booh.

Almost 4am, it's cold and quiet. With everything going on around me i just can't sleep. I've been letting music destroy me emotionally all night. To make matters worst I have a presentation in 8 hours and I'm not in the mood. So fail me for all I care. Funny how It took me 6 hours to build up a negative energy to blog. I would have talked to anybody who would listen, but nah. Why anyway, don't bother. Music is my therapy. I tried to be who I can be for everybody but it was never enough was it? It hit me hard, this realization that I'm fooling myself. I take things easy, for granted, knowing I have this wide road in front of me. I don't. My time is running out sooner than I know it. I'm not leaving, it's just a case of I've been gone. And i think it's for the best. Until I sort my future out, what is there for me to do, when everyone is caught up in their own cloud? Sometimes i kinda regret going into diploma. People in my field tell me i should have done a 1 year foundation, get into my degree faster. Sometimes i secretly agree. Perhaps I'm delirious. Upset i guess. Let me just say I am happy for my friends who have had the best of luck. Justin is most prolly moving to U.K to study, Angela, Yvone and Marcus are all going to Australia. Congrats you guys, I am happy and both torn apart. Justin without you, BLB is buried kay. I swear to whatever god out there, I'll fail my finals if i have to, to get our cd recorded before September. The rest of you, I'll be frank. My freshie sem would not have been awesome without you guys. All the fun times, the expensive lunches. Well it seems, eventually, everyone leaves. Guess it's time to make up my damn mind. Till November, I have 3 months to do all I can here.

Lyrical Lies

It's simply a tribute to the songwriters who have inspired me to write the way I do. You may know some of them, and you may not. Well, my lyrical writing have come under attack from ALICIA and many other non-lyric writing losers, so let me spell it out for you people. =p
The bands that I listen to, they don't write about what a nice day it is, you know? We as lyricists write about things that we're in, or were once in. Hint hint? Love. Listen around you, jarrheads. It's everywhere. People sing about it. Boys sing about girls. Girls sing about boys, how else shall i spoon feed you? I was trying to finish up lyrics last night when ally said stop writing songs about girls. Nahh. If I do, then there's nothing to write about =) Everyone up there, would agree with me, bar(to an extent further) for Ryan Ross of PATD. The lyrical genius quoted on wiki as below

Moving On vs. I'm Still Here

They came, saw, and conquered. Being one of them for a short period, i now feel left behind, as the vast majority of them will be graduating, moving to study in the U.S, and whatever else. Me being the new president, is forced to stay behind and continue the reign, continue this legacy. I'm sad as hell to watch them go, but i'm ever thankful to have had such wonderful friends and seniors in rotaract =) I love you guys kay. So today, we had the farewell dinner at the sun and surf in sunway hotel. I got punked by everyone into wearing super formal with a tie. I fell for it. Ben's idea. A normal buffet price would cost us rm80 per head, but we only paid rm7 per person =D haha. Using my frigging club funds!! Oh well. Pictures ahead. Loads of them. Had you read my last plurk update, you'd have thought the two key words that might suprise you there would be me and make up. Lol, yes make up. I wouldn't even be fretting about these things had it not been for the theme of the ball. A masquerade. Imaginations do run wild you know. I've been discussing with my bandmates and we've all had a hard time trying to come up with a solution of what mask to wear and stuff, so i guess i'll be the first to go with the idea of just make up as a mask. Performance-wise that is. And since the song we picked, suits the theme very well, i guess i'll follow the man behind it's lyrics. The only problem is, i have no experience with make up, and i have no idea how am i going to get make up, let alone get the desired effect. hahahaha tolong oh tolong. Friday. This week has been more tedious and stressful compared to the other week, when my anxiety got the better of me. Well here's a breakdown. First and foremost, here's a big big congratulations to LeMarcus Teh, for buying his brand new iphone and flaunting it around college like a sonnofabitch. I hate you. Lol but we had so much fun playing guitar hero 2 in class that we got so addicted to the songs again, i literally set high scores for all the songs. :D I knw i'm pro right. Hence the title, our favourite song was Who was in my room last night by the butthole surfers, cause me, veno and alicia hit 100%, never missed a note! whoo! In your face marcus. I want an iphone too. =( Other than that, was pretty annoyed with the delay of the proposal signing, but in the end, today it was all finalized and we're at a greenlight go. Awesome. However. Started the week by attending school's integrasi camp. Hmm. Don't think i want to blog about it. A few things to note though. Like how beng took control of his checkpoint during U8 challenge and actually managed to brief a unit! hahaha

I have been trying so frigging hard to sleep but i just can't..gah..stupid i'm-not-sure-what-to-blame on..so i watched a movie. Cruel Intentions. I've watched it 3 times this month alone, dozens of times every year for the past 10 years, since i first saw it in the cinema with mum and sis. This movie is just awesomeness, addictive, and it's for you teenies to learn about the culture shock of the teen society with all that love drama for and from deceit, which ends up proving us guys are genuine lovers and humans after all haha :D! i think everyone my year has watched it..ryte? if no, then i suggest you watch. I watched it with alicia in the library at the start of the sem on her laptop, she couldn't stop crying when sebastian ahems in the end, which was funny. yeah it was sad, but cry? lol. but no doubt i love the ending. and i'm gonna share it with you peeps. i've been in love with this soundtrack for like ages. it's bittersweet symphony by the verve.

Stressed and desserts. Try reading those words backwords =) I know! It's been quite some time since i added stuff here, so here's a quick short update. The semester is really getting started now. Studywise, come what may, my head's not into the study mood yet, unless exams are near. Elsewhere, my rotaract club is doing okay, 50 new members this sem. We're incharge of orientation night, which is erm. pretty huge, and we're running out of time. I hope to elect the orientation commitee this friday, so rotaractors, pls come for the meeting yeah. Intima week was pretty fun, i had a blast. Fun experience though.

Not too long ago, they all agreed adrian was a common name. credits to fel or exageratting it. So nat started calling me ' addy'. The name stuck. Addy Skye. Nice no? Thnx Nat =) Inti Ball performance? hahaha. everybody's in for a supriseeee. for hints, clues are " roses have thorns they say", and " what a beautiful wedding " :D . Ally deserves a mention in this, credits to you for helping me out so much with work this week. And Veno, you're always a good sidekick to have around. Whee. Got rid of maths today. One paper down, just three more to go, before sem break, and a much deserved self-destroying period. Haha. In 2007, I made the fatal mistake of having 2 livita's within 3 hours, and i frigging O.D.ed in class, right before Physics paper 3. I was shaking in my seat. It was quite a nasty experience. ....Two years later, you'd think i've learnt my lesson. Negative. I woke just in time, left forr coll, skipped breakfast, passed by 7/11, caught sight of alicia and veno in there, so i doubled back and headed in. To my own regret, me two feet led me to the refrigerator, and of all the drinks on the rack, and it was a nice rack btw, I had to pick the livita with honey from taisho! Damn It. LOL! But ahh well, i lacked sleep, so I let the liquid flow down my throat and enter the confines of my tummy. The end result? 1. I didn't Shake as badly. 2. I did stay awake all through math, but with each yawn, tears just wanna squirt out and i knew i was annoying the hell out of thong beside me. Haha. Fun. Right, after math, was going to head home but the guys kinda changed my mind by saying crap like, " don't sisi run home la!, and ' aiyo never spend time with us', or " e.inc must study together for the last time la ". So yeah. I did stay in coll. Came home, wanted to hit econs straight away ( cause staying back i knew too well we werent gonna study and we didn't ), so i took a nice long shower, came into my cold room, put on some fancy house clothes, hahaha, and just fell asleep. Just like that. A few smses did wake me up, but i kinda slept all the way till about 8 plus. Aisehh. Anyway, got on fb and good to see kar lau uploaded a few pic of us the lpu8 gang. Moving on, today is the day we the BLB join forces with Wai Chun for his school's IR Day, which I don't give a shit about, but hey, it was a chance to get on stage and do our thing, so we were like, ' why not' . And that was weeks ago. We didn't even need the audition. And I had named us " I'm Made Of Wax, What Are You Made Of? ". Sadly the name was too long to be included into the itinerary, so without my consent, Mr. Chun changed the name to " Dear Daniel ". WHAT THE FUCK?? I've since learned that dear daniel is hello kitty's boyfriend. Hahaha. That aside, later today we'll be the last performance, playing again, as boring as this sounds, Secret Valentine, BUT! Now moving on to the last segment. If you've watched the video posted in the last post, this is the prelude. Being in a band with your closest friends rock. I won't say it again. I won't say we're the next best thing or anything, but we have been busting our asses for the past year or so to get to where we are. And where is that, I hear you ask. Well, it's at playing on a rm10k stage alongside bands like PAKU and ONE BUCK SHORT/ALTERED FREQUENCY/BEAT THE SYSTEM. That's where we're at. Sad part is, we haven't got that much publicity, even while playing with those guys, and that's because we haven't recorded anything to back us up. Soon we will. Julyyyyy :) I never knew Peter & Jane would be such a hit to everyone who's heard it live. So that's what we're going to record first. Right, i've just watched Arsenal come back from being a goal down to equalising the match, thus earning the gunners a crucial away goal to take back to the emirates, where, i'm pretty sure we'll outpass the spaniards and walk the ball into the net. RoadKill. Yup. A little dissapointed last night but that was fueled cause united didn't lose to porto, they should have. haha. United fans, don't hate me. Yeah so anyway, was thinking about going to sleep, but as usual, i've got other ideas. See, i've always kept to the routine of writing new material almost twice a week. It's also a good way to release tension or pour out emotions and ideas or whatever. Which, over the course from february till now, is just what i've done, and came up with a couple of songs that i've taken a liking to. I know it's pretty weird for writters to not like their own songs, but it does happen more often than not. All you non writters fyi. If you write something nice and melodious, your friends like it but you don't, then it's back to the drawing board. It's usually the other way around. If you like something others don't, it's cause you wrote it that way, and that's how you want it to sound like or mean. Unless, both you and everyone else likes it, then strike. It's a combo, and you know you're on to something. So my dearest of friends and family, I'd like some feedback on the 2, yes TWO new songs i've already posted up. Both songs can be found in the black player to the right. It may load pretty slow, but be patient, the net line these days have been pretty fucked up i know :)

First up, is a song titled ' You're Good I'm Gone ' . So, let me introduce a lil background to it. This song is pretty much self explanatory. It's about a guy or girl who's had the bad run in a relationship because it's not working out with the other. And it's time to drift off to find solitude on their own. Inspiration? Lol. I'm pretty happy with my own relationship first and foremost. I love jyen till afterlife and beyond and we're happy together as happy can be, so no, i know what you're thinking, But no, i didn't write it for me. I collected emotions from the people around me, situations around me, compiled them together, gathered tunes from past songs that failed, and even a lil help from katy perry. lol. Uh huh. Title does says it all. Finals starts next tuesday, and it's that study rush again. Since it's study-break week, and since i'm not in the mood to study tonight, i guess i'll just waste time before the champions league match later. Anyway. Loads have been happening lately, Nat's birthday, jamming with wai chiun for seafield's IR, and meeting up with Nick for the first time in years. Yeah, great times. And it's come with some hard times too. Music-wise, being my only avenue to escape to, sadly so far it's at a standstill. BLB won't rehearse again till friday and saturday, and i can't wait to just get up on stage and perform really. I want that adrenaline rush all over again. It might just make all the difference during exams. haha. Moving on, all the april people. Nat, again happy birthday. Nicole, who's birthday is today i think. Well happy birthday to you too. Lastly. Guess. hehe. Who? wtf?! no of course not! hahaha. 12th of april, V. Yeah. Not bad, he gets to perform on his birthday! I'd love to do that really. Quite a nice gift. Hello blogging community, it's that time again, I'm due an update. So i've got more pictures and videos to show you guys more than I have to crap about, so we'll dive straight into the action. To begin with, the week was partially crap. Music, friends, rotaract and my other half Twjy seems to be the only thing fueling me. Econs exams was okay, I pretty much dug a grave all through math. Can you blame me? I've been having a lot of fun recently, and tried my best to make it all up via ' burning the midnight oil ' and staying up to study. haha! haven't used that since my ol' spm days. Management exams was pretty smooth. Oh but I got full marks for English and that's never happened in DBAD. haha can you blame me? I suspect that story essay played some huge part. Which bring about the next topic, Ally. Ally is a strange girl. She's paranoid that i'll be u.s bound faster than her, ahaha! the race is on. So anyway, Ally and Mag were heading to math on thurs and some snatch thief attacked them, resulting in Mag losing her handbag, and everything in it, except her phone which was in her jeans pocket. We guys were at Jack's place, so we couldn't really help. On the way to class ourselves, crossing over from AC to the class blocks, some kenari frigging hit this chinese dude, and smashed into his knee. His scream was bone chilling. But we had math exam so we couldn't really kepo too much.

Friday. No coll, naturally, but decided to teman Fel and Xin to pyramid to buy Nat's gift, and Nat came along too. Believe it or not I couldn't find my way to bodyshop, i got lost. hahaha. I called kev over from sunway since he finished class already, and the 5 of us had lunch at canton I. huge place, gave us a huge table. food was okay. Nat was sick but she had some pork intestine kongee, which was hilarious. haha. They dragged me and kev to Forever 21 and wtv other girlie shop u can name. we look so unbelonging in shops like that. lol but it was fun seeing what they browsed for. In the end, fel and xin agreed on a black bag for nat worth at 150 plus i think. After getting her the gift, me and kev scooted off home via justin and decided to practice for the Earth Hour acoustic & unplugged event and coll. It started around 7, and trust me, it was a very nice, cosy, and intimate event by us rotaracts and intimas for earth =) here are the pics.

In all honesty, it was pretty enjoyable. I think, rotaract and intima plus mr. amir is/what 132 was for me. we're all passionate about what we do, and i think i've got that feeling again. After the event, lights went back on, and Ben came to me and was like, ' this wed, meeting, formal, bring your new board members, its procedure'. lol i was like wtf? I haven't even found the right board members. But now it's safe to say i already have :D.

So far, i called pauline up on saturday morning to see if she was interested. Thank god she was willing. See, hehe back in 07, she and her sidekick, lupa nama, by msn nama is honeychan, was in english society, and they were forcing me to join so they could offer me a high post. But for some reason i refused. Oh well. Now i'm repaying the favour pauline! :) and trust me rotaract's cert is a huge deal. So from there i branched out my board members from the aups and the mass comm, and i'll definitely have IZZY IN THERE! :D iZZY you can be the adult entertainment director or something lol! okay keeping it clean. Meeting this wed, we're all pumped. Bring it world.

Saturday, the fun starts. EARTH HOUR. let me say it again. Earth Hour was fun. Me and kev walked to 7/11 to begin with, buy candy bars and walked home, just to see the neighborhood. lol. thenn, got the gang and headed to usj6 bball park! okay. Black Light Banquet played two songs unplugged, in conjunction with earth hour. Here they are :)

This is going to be a very long update =) cool? cool. Backtrackin' to last Friday. It was some show in all honesty, and when i woke up on saturday morning, i still had the balance adrenaline. Which was always a good sign, which meant saturday was either going to be really wild, crazy or both. Turned out, it was more to dreamland than that. A week earlier, Gerald of Beat The System and i had talked about the possiblity of he being our band's part time manager. You know, push us into shows, publicity, exposure and all. And he's done a great job already. Getting us into GOssip Penang was unreal. So, he asked me to bring the guys and follow him down to PJ to go see Mario's Psycho Anthem record their latest song, Hidden Camera. nice name. And guess where? 21 .05 Productions. Okay, in other words, JD of Pop Shuvit's studio. Pretty awesome that we actually managed to hang around the studio. We met up with Gerald around 6pm, all 4 of us jumped into his tricked out Civic, which had a dvd player and it's screen hanging on the latch of the passenger seat, so we were all watching transformers while on the way. OMFG MEGAN FOX!! coldshower. Okay, hahaha. Gerald was kinda watching and driving at the same time, his head turning left and back like every 3 seconds. lol which was funny really. Did i mention his in-car light was a blacklight? super coolness. Reached i-can't-remember-where and had dinner at a place called killinie i think. When Mario and his gf plus Ocu arrived, Mario thought he heard Gerald say over the phone, KillingMe. We all burst out laughing at that. Mario and Ocu are like the funniest people in music i've ever known. Not to mention they kick ass. Reached the studio after dinner, which was at Taman Tun, and met JD for the first time. Whoa, not the person i used to see in shuvit's music videos and concerts, he looks like the average chinese guy on the street! haha! But looking around the studio, no doubt, that's the Shuvit's axeman.

So we got a tour of the studio, and learned how things worked, who and what went first, the metronome's importance, and of course, pure fun and cock talk in-studio. Hahaha there was this incident involving some art on the walls, but it's just between us BLB, Mario and Gerald. Something about Moots opening his mouth. Anyway, PA's drummer went into the drum track room to track the drums, and we watched from the other side, while listening via the speakers. Gosh the studio equipment rocks.

After the drums were finished, Mario and Ocu both recorded guitars and bass over the drums. It took a long time to set up the guitar, but it was fun and funny as hell watching them dish out sarcasm. Laughed a lot in that studio. Wonder what JD thinks about us lol. So i walked around, looked behind a door and saw a stack of JD'S gig tags

It took 4 hours and RM300+ to record Hidden Camera, but in the end, Psycho Anthem would be pretty satisfied, and we're extremely lucky to have had a first hand look at how studio life was. Me and the guys can't pretty much wait to get started ourselves, but it'll take lots of work effort and time. We're doing it anyway :)

We went to have supper with all three bands at some mamak down a few streets. We kept quiet while listening to Gerald and Ocu have a go at various topics, such as, criticizing a few bands, and such. More to laugh about. Finally left P.A P.S around 1 something i think, and Gerald sent us back to our car. Went home, and slept i think? Sunday morning. We, includes Kev,Brad, Beng and Thurai, headed to Ikano area/the curve for two reasons. Bubba Gump and Bentley Music! Had awesome lunch at this fantastic pimpy shrimpy shop. No try you rugi i tell you. We ate up to rm200 bucks. Pretyy crazy i know. Then left for courts mammoth, where bentley's was. And that, was heaven. Saw pretty much every guitar at every price, all except My baby Emily and Epiphone :( It was fun browsing though. My other options would be that Santa Cruz Les Paul for about 600 bucks or a squire tellycaster for about the same price. And that would be the end of the weekend. The week, started off with a holiday, thank gawd, and had breakfast on monday morning with the girl who lives a school away. It's always a great thing to see her, but seeing her would mean i'll end up having a great day. Or great week. So it proved true. Tuesday, was English essaying, and there was this fun segment where Pn Suseela made us sit in a large round circle. We were puzzled and thought this was gonna be a campfire game. She gave us some paper, and asked us to write a beginning of a story. And we did, and every time the timer goes off, we have to pass the paper to the person on the right, who would continue the story for us. And when your own paper comes back to you, you're supposed to end it.( we had 3 mins each round) Being a person who writes stories on a regular basis (hehe =D) i was pretty much up for the challenge, but my fucking retarded classmates! lol omg! Ruined my story by a hundred fold. I ruined theirs in return too of course. It was so crappy, I have to type it out here. lol! Okay, sentences ONLY In RED are what i wrote. so yeah. every time the timer goes off, i mark the next sentence with a *

(hahaha alicia!?). * areee crazzzy! i told myself, so i wanted to go get some drug. so i passed a backstreet. * ( and this point, it came back to me, i noticed a lot of ppl skipped my paper cause the story was fucked up. lol. ). * And i saw her again. I froze, and suddenly everything around me started to warp, the surroundings and scenes were changing, my head felt heavy and dizzy. I closed my eyes, inhaled, and reopened them. There we were, back in the reading room again. Dark, silent and i could only hear our intake of breaths. Dejavu. I pinched myself. It hurt, and i concluded this IS real. She was still advancing towards me. I didnt wait, i moved towards her too. time is short they say? We held eye contact. Inches away now. Our warm lips met. I found my paradise. "

hahahaha! it was so screwed up, pn. suseela actually picked mine for reading cause of the way i ended it. cool. That was tuesday. on Wed, there was a rotaract meeting before class, and did a post mortem for the event, financially too. It was during this meeting that Ben actually told the rest of the board that i'll be assisting Fel till the end of the sem. oh happy bday ben! and Ben asked me if I wanted to chairperson the IntiBall . HAHA! considering =) We're gonna organize an end of sem trip too, for the board, not sure when or what. But we're planning island. Xin and I agreed on Bali. Natalie wants genting, i forgot about susan. Ben wants genting i think? LOL anything lar people, just as long as its with you guys. And cheap, cause i'm a little broke. hahaha.
Rest of the week was okay. Friday came along, ffked izzy and boonthong and the guys at starbucks, fixing the econs thing. Cause i wanted to see jyen off and go to the matta fair with chee yan and kev and beng. The matta fair was fun. Nyehe planning our gang trip soon. Either in june or july, and its gonna be another island adventure. fun fun fun can't wait! :) Oh and, walked in 7/11 to grab a honey drink for my throat and stumbled upon the last le gardenie. And today, drove a jaguar. Don't ask. Owner is a guy with white hair. Studied, and now just lazing around. Currently, music this month is fellowwinnggg baybeh. Wrote about 2 new songs For BLB. Just A Lil Wax and sumthn sumthn haha! Next post i'll reveal. And this month, i've been listening to A Day To Remember. Pretty awesome band.

Very precise choice of words, it was awesummmmmmmm. After all the hardwork of setting up and making sure all the performances was alright, it turned out great, crowd was great and finally our own performance was killer i hope. Started out the day setting up. Till about 3pm, the rest of the band arrived at inti. They hung around and helped out a bit here and there. Thanks guys. Guests started arriving around 7, and soon after, the show begin. All the performances was great. The mcees, nick and natalie, who is the organizing chairperson, you guys were fantastic. The dance crew Sinthetic, pretty slick. Best dance crew i've seen, doing that couples thing. forget them jabbas. The Chew family! You guys can dance man! lol izzy your bro is so damn cute. All the ladies gave their hearts to him, damn jealous sial haha. Then finally after all the stress of making sure the stage and the equip was all set ( yeah they made me head o stage crew ), it was time for the closing act, us, BLB. And. We played two songs . They wanted an encore, so we gave them one. =) the crowd was great la, and big shout of thanks and love to NATALIE , XIN AND EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT 1ST! lol that got the party started. Thanks to Ben too who kept telling the world i was gay via the walkie talkie. Which i am not btw. Had to go around asking girls to speak into my walkie telling band i wasnt gay. ahaha. makan tu! In the end, everyone enjoyed themselves, so did we, without further due, pics and vids =)

Super-duper scrumptious awesome brilliant fantastic mesmerizing amazing story cut short, Penang last weekend was a ride worth a lifetime. Musically that is. We had so much fun, not only playing, but hanging out with the other artists, the hitz,fm mo crew and everyone else. Fun times. So we left friday morning, reached around 5pm, we picked up Hilmi from the docks, and headed for soundcheck. First and foremost, the stage is awesome. Like simply heaven for us ameteur bands. Marshall and Mesa Boogie for me and Kev. We just grinned la. haha. The sound guys are the same people who set up for Rock The World VII. We stayed at YMCA Penang, and on sunday morning, at 3am precisely, we filmed a zombie movie! muahaha. Okay. words and recounts don't do justice. Here are the pics, and a couple of videos. Well. NOW moving on to today. fell sick in class i guess. And then had that IU audition at seafield with waichun. sang thunder and secret valenting, me and justin did harmonies for both. acoustic. bet they never saw that before. hahaha. damn dumb la. wonder if we got in. tak penting. gossip johor next! huger than ever. then went to rehearsals with a sore throat, but managed to sing it all. hehe. our secrret song is gonna kick ass tmrw. u wont know less you come =)
